At first sight, photo seems to portray two fingers, but actually these are not human fingers but actually young student legs. It is reported that young student was being punished by his teacher and was told to kneel down in frozen peas.
You people don’t feel hurt because this kind of punishment is common in various East Asian countries including China, Philippines etc. One of my friends after this incident used to converse about that how his mother made her kneel on rice. Honestly speaking, this practice is much common in Chinese people. Chinese people in one way or another use this kind of punishment to motivate their kids to show perfection in the classroom. According to the point of view of some teachers, this kind of punishment is used to motivate the dull and naughty students to behave nicely in the classroom and pay attention to the lecture instead of disturbing the classroom environment.

Terrible.
ReplyDeleteTERRIBLE. NOBODY has the right to hurt another human being. And, inflicting pain is not a motivator of desirable behaviours, but is a motivator of FEAR AND ANXIETY.
ReplyDeleteUmm, teacher is a sadistic @-h0l3
ReplyDeleteTRYPOPHOBIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA T____T
ReplyDeleteActually it was practiced in polish schools ca. 30 years ago. I believe it helped then to keep children polite and docile but i think it's not the best way to achieve that. We are humans, we talk with each other.
ReplyDeletethis is child abuse
ReplyDelete"Spare the rod, spoil the child." Was the way most of us were raised.
